Our Core Convictions

The Supremacy of God

We believe God is supremely glorious, the fountain of all true and lasting joy. Consequently, we exist to magnify His greatness, recognizing that the deepest human needs are met only as we find our satisfaction in Him. We submit our lives to the Lordship of Christ as the sovereign King of kings, who is before all things & the head of the church. Within the spheres of church, family, and state, we honor and submit to the lesser authorities God has instituted to restrain evil and promote good, provided they do not overstep their realm of authority.

The Sufficiency of Scripture

We regard the Bible as our ultimate authority. "The Holy Scriptures are the only sufficient, certain, and infallible standard of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience" (1689 London Confession). We preach and exposit every verse of the Old and New Testament Scriptures with a historical-narrative / Christ-centered approach.

The Significance of the Gospel

We confess the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only message that can bring fallen humanity into a saving relationship with God and effect ongoing maturity in the life of the Christian. All of ministry is to be shaped by the gospel.

The Substance of Community

We affirm that every individual is an image-bearer of God, thus deserving dignity and respect. At the same time, authentic Christianity is more than a personalized salvation experience. It is lived out in the context of community, distinguished by mutual affection, ministry, and care. We believe in regenerate church membership and prioritize the household of faith.

The Seriousness of Mission

We acknowledge that Jesus Christ has mandated the mission of the church. Therefore, we are to engage our community and the world with the call of the gospel, seeking to disciple all nations - particularly where Christ has not yet been named.
