Paul commends Phoebe to - and greets various people in - the church of Rome.

Paul's ministry focus shows us the heart of God and directs the decisions we make in life.

The work of Christ proves our faith in His trustworthy Word, provides mercy for the outcast sinner, and produces hope in all who trust in the Gospel!

The strong are to bear with the weak and follow Christ's example, bringing God glory through our united fellowship.

How do we pursue peace in the church when we disagree with our brothers and sisters in Christ on secondary issues? Romans 14:13-23 answers all those questions.

In light of the grandeur of the Gospel that Paul outlines from Romans 1:18-11:32, the apostle now stands in awe of God's nature and ways in this poetic benediction of God's holiness and glory.

God has always been at work among Israel & the nations to gather for Himself a people to ascribe Him glory. His mercy exceeds our disobedience, whether we are Jew or Gentile!
